Do you remember what you were doing on February 7th, 1964 when this occurred in America?

On February 7, 1964, the Beatles arrived in America to a throng of awaiting fans.  The Beatles, Ringo Starr, John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison, make a windswept arrival at JFK airport in New York City on Feb. 7, 1964.

 

The Beatles were use to large enthusiastic crowds as can be seen from a concert in 1963, but the American reception on their tour was overwhelming.  Two days later, Paul McCartney, age 21, Ringo Starr, 23, John Lennon, 23, and George Harrison, 20, made their first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show, a popular television variety show.
